On Sunday, August 12, 2012, St. Mary’s Assumption Day was celebrated at Holy Trinity Armenian Church.

Rev. Archpriest Zareh Zargarian, Pastor of the church celebrated the Divine Liturgy, accompanied by the church Deacons and Acolytes. The beautiful prayers sung by the Church Choir members, directed by Mr. Shahe Altounian & Mrs. Sona Artinian on the organ, made the Holy Mass as beautiful as it could be.

The community members whose first names are related to this wonderful feast day were invited by Fr. Zargarian to receive special blessings from the Holy Altar.

At the end of the liturgy, the ceremony of blessing of the grapes took place outside the church, followed by BBQ lunch organized by the dedicated and hardworking members of Holy Trinity Armenian Church Parish Council and Women’s Guild.

We thank everyone involved in making this day a successful festivity where families and friends joined to have a special prayer day and a wonderful time.
