Step-By-Step

How to Book Your Wedding Ceremony

Wedding ceremonies may be scheduled from Friday to Sunday throughout the year, subject to the Church’s availability, except during the Lenten period.

Step 1: Contact the Church to Confirm Your Date & Time

Before you complete the form, please confirm the date and time of your wedding with our Church Office.

Step 2: Fill Out the Wedding Application Form

Complete the official wedding form and submit your deposit to reserve your ceremony date.

Step 3: Pay the Deposit

While a deposit is required, the church may assist families facing financial hardship.

Meeting with the Pastor

Upon the fulfillment of the above, it is a must for the couple to arrange a meeting with the Pastor, to get to know him personally, discuss with him and get advice and answers to the questions that are of interest to them.

  • Discuss the values of a strong and faithful marriage with the Pastor

Confirm the date with the church office in advance

Requirements for the Holy Matrimony

Baptism & Confirmation (Couple)

Both individuals must be baptized and confirmed in the Orthodox or Catholic Church.

Baptism & Confirmation (Best Man)

The Best Man must also be baptized and confirmed in the Orthodox or Catholic Church.

Legal Divorce Documentation

If divorced, legal divorce papers must be submitted in advance.

Marriage License

Present your official Marriage License at least two weeks before the wedding.

Holy Communion Participation

Attend Divine Liturgy and receive Holy Communion on the Sunday before the ceremony.

Wedding Rehearsal (Optional)

Arrive on time and respect the agreed date and time of the rehearsal.

Day of the Wedding

Please review the following guidelines to ensure a respectful and smooth wedding ceremony.

Be On Time

Please arrive on time to ensure a smooth ceremony without delays or disruptions.

Florist Timing

Florist may decorate 30 minutes before the ceremony and must clean up immediately after.

Respect Church Property

Decorations must not damage church furnishings. Only artificial rose petals and battery-operated candles are permitted.

Photographer & Videographer Guidelines

Photographers and videographers must not step onto the altar. Please consult with the Deacon before the ceremony.

Personal Belongings

The Church is not responsible for lost or left behind items.
