Commemoration of the Ten Virgins

On Holy Tuesday, March 31, 2026, ten female students from St. Sahag and St. Mesrob Armenian Saturday School and the Holy Trinity Armenian Church Sunday School participated in the Ten Virgins spiritual service. The prayers were led by the Vicar of the Armenian Church Canadian Diocese and Parish Priest, Rev. Archpriest Fr. Zareh Zargarian, along with the Pastor’s Assistant, Rev. Fr. Hayari Tanashian.

During the service, the students represented the Ten Virgins, each holding a lit lamp. During the Gospel reading, the lamps of five of the virgins were extinguished, symbolizing the parable.

ՅԻՇԱՏԱԿ ՏԱՍՆ ԿՈՒՍԱՆԱՑ

Աւագ Երեքշաբթի, 31 Մարտ 2026-ին, Սուրբ Սահակ եւ Սուրբ Մեսրոպ Ազգային Շաբաթօրեայ վարժարանի եւ Սբ. Երրորդութիւն եկեղեցւոյ կիրակնօրեայ վարժարանի 10 աշակերտուհիներ մասնակից եղան Տասն Կուսանաց հոգեպարար արարողութեան:

Արարողութիւնը կատարուեցաւ աղօթակցութեամբ Գանատահայոց Թեմի փոխառաջնորդ եւ Սբ. Երրորդութիւն եկեղեցւոյ հոգեւոր հովիւ Արժ. Տ. Զարեհ Աւ. Քահանայ Զարգարեանի եւ Հովիւի օգնական Արժ. Տ. հայարի Քահանայ Թանաշեանի:

10 աշակերտուհիները վառած կանթեղներով ներկայացուցին տաս կոյսերը եւ Աւետարանի ընթերցման ժամանակ 5 կոյսերուն կանթեղները մարուեցան:
