Rev. Fr. Hayari Tanashian's Inaugural Divine Liturgy at Holy Trinity Armenian Church

With the fatherly blessing of His Grace Bishop Abgar Hovagimian, Primate of The Armenian Church of Canada, on Sunday, August 4, 2019, Rev. Fr. Hayari Tanashian, the newly appointed Assistant to the Parish Priest of Holy Trinity Armenian Church of Toronto, celebrated his inaugural Divine Liturgy and delivered the sermon of the day.


During the Liturgy, Rev. Archpriest Fr. Zareh Zargarian, Vicar of the Armenian Church of Canada and Parish Priest, read the Primate's letter regarding Fr. Tanashian’s assignment as Pastor’s Assistant. He introduced and welcomed Fr. Tanashian on behalf of the Parish Council, Church Auxiliary Bodies and the faithful. Fr. Zargarian expressed his happiness about this appointment and extended his best wishes to Fr. Tanashian in his service to God and to the faithful.


Following the Divine Liturgy, the faithful present congratulated Fr. Tanashian and welcomed him to Holy Trinity Armenian Church.


A reception was organized by the Parish Council, headed by Chair, Mrs. Rosin Imasdounian, in honour of Fr. Tanashian, during which the guests expressed their good wishes to the Pastor’s Assistant in his new mission.
