Republic of Armenia's Independence Day

On Sunday, September 22, 2018 His Grace Bishop Abgar Hovakimian, Primate of the Armenian Church Canadian Diocese celebrated the Divine Liturgy at Holy Trinity Armenian Church assisted by Rev. Archpriest Zareh Zargarian, Vicar and Parish Priest of Holy Trinity Armenian Church.

On the occasion of Republic of Armenia's 27th Anniversary of Independence, a special Flag Blessing ceremony took place during the service. Mr. Agopig Altounian and Mr. Jirayr Pederian joined by Sunday School students carried the flag of Armenia towards the Holy Altar for the blessing. This was followed by Primate Hovakimian's heartfelt sermon.
