Meeting the Hon. Chris Alexander

On Friday, October 17, 2014, a group of representatives from various Toronto churches had a meeting with The Honourable Chris Alexander, Minister of Citizenship and Immigration to discuss the situation of our Christian brothers and sisters in Iraq & Syria.

The focus of the conversation was sponsorship options, waiting times for the refugees who seek relocation to Canada, assistance with the refugees to settle in their new country and more.

Mr. John Derohanessian, Parish Council member represented the Holy Trinity Armenian Church at this meeting.
