Special General Meeting

 Discussion of the Offer Received from Centennial College to Purchase the Armen-Ontario / Armenian General Benevolent Union (AGBU) Building

It is with great sadness and disappointment that we learned of the AGBU Central Board’s decision, represented in Toronto through Armen Ontario, that the Toronto AGBU Centre adjoining the Holy Trinity Armenian Church has entered into an agreement of purchase and sale with Centennial College.

The purpose of this meeting was to address this major development and focus on the Resolution that has been put forward. All decisions made were to be in the best interest of the church.

Present to the meeting were Rev. Archpriest Fr. Zareh Zargarian, Vicar of the Armenian Church Diocese of Canada and Parish Priest of the Holy Trinity Armenian Church, Mr. Ohan Ohanessian, Chairman of the Diocesan Council, Mrs. Rosine Imasdounian, Chairperson of Holy Trinity Armenian Church Parish Council, Dues paying members, representatives of Armenian sister churches and organizations, and a large number of community members in particular noticeable presence of the youth.

Mr. Jack Stepanian, Chairman of the Diocesan Board of Trustees, chaired the special membership meeting and Mrs. Betty Panossian and Ms. Arine Kemkemian captured the meeting minutes in Armenian and English respectively. Appointed Parliamentary was Mr. Stephan Ekmekjian

The meeting commenced with Bishop Hovakimyan’s opening prayer and proceeded with the agenda.

All attendees were in agreement of the agenda.

Mr. Ohan Ohanessian introduced the sale of the AGBU Toronto property and gave a brief description of the key points on the terms of sale. He shared that on October 31, 2018 an agreement was received for the purchase and sale of the Armen-Ontario / Armenian General Benevolent Union (AGBU) Building by Centennial College. Two major factors in this transaction were noted; The purchase price of the AGBU building at $8.5million, and the ability for The Holy Trinity Armenian Church to exercise their first right of refusal option which would need to be applied within 90 days. This 90 day period will terminate on January 29, 2019.

With a purchase deadline of January 29, 2018, the closing date was confirmed for February 28, 2019. It was also noted that in order to secure the agreement, Centennial College placed a deposit of $250,000.

The purchase and sale of the AGBU building is inclusive of 2.6 acres of land it sits on adjacent to the 0.8 acres belonging to the Holy Trinity Armenian Church. An aerial view of the property was shown to illustrate the border between AGBU and the HTAC property. This image created an uproar as it showed that only 10 of the current parking spaces fall on the 0.8 acres belonging to the Church. The remainder of the parking lot, currently used by HTAC parishioners, falls within the 2.6 acre property of the AGBU. This posed a concern with those in attendance of the meeting and led to a number of questions regarding the sustainability of the Church as it relates to accessibility.

It was confirmed, that until further notice, there will be no changes to the parking agreement between Holy Trinity and the adjacent property. Although at this time, the plan for Centennial College’s purchase of property is not clear, Mr. Jack Stepanian assured that if a decision was made by Centennial College to eliminate the parking lot for commercial use HTAC would address the situation as necessary. As it stands, AGBU will respect the parking agreement currently in place; a mutual agreement of parking entitlement that is based on a first come first serve basis.

Prior to reading the Resolution, a video was presented depicting the close proximity of the Church to AGBU and how active our Church community is on the grounds we currently share.

Resolution

The Resolution was read by Mr. Ohan Ohanessian in English and by Mrs. Rosin Imasdounian in Armenian.

The Parish Council of the HTAC has closely followed the latest developments with regards to the Purchase and Sale Agreement between AGBU Armen Ontario and Centennial College for the AGBU property.

To best serve the interests of the Church, the Parish Council recommends to the General Assembly to approve this resolution and to mandate Mr. Ara Boyajian-Chair of HTAC Building Committee, Mr. Ohan Ohanessian Chair of the Council of the Diocese, Mr. Jack Stepanian-Chair of the Diocese Board of Trustees, and Rosine Imasdounian-Chair of HTAC Parish Council, to assess the impact of the sale of the AGBU property located at 930 progress avenue, on the operation of the HTAC and explore all possible avenues to best safeguard the interests of the Church, including the preparation of a feasibility study, approaching financial institutions and getting commitments from major donors to kick start a community wide fund raising drive to secure the necessary funds, and exercise, by January 2019, its first right of refusal to purchase the property by January 29, 2019.

The floor was opened for discussion.

A notation was made to gain agreement of two or more people for approval of decisions. Mr. Madat Mamourian was in favour. Mr. Stepan Ekmekjian seconded this notion.

Those present to the meeting entered into healthy and constructive discussions asking questions, expressing concerns and suggesting solutions as a result of the proposed sale of the AGBU Centre to Centennial College.

During the discussion Mr. Hagop Janbazian, the Chairman of the Interdenominational Committee of Toronto representing St.Mary Armenian Apostolic Church, St. Gregory Armenian Catholic Church and Armenian Evangelical Church’s Parish Priests conveyed feelings of sorrow at the decision at stake that will have a detrimental effect on the Toronto Armenian Community, in particular the Holy Trinity Armenian Church. On behalf of the Interdenominational Committee, Mr.Janbazian expressed his confidence in the decision to be made that will influence the spiritual and cultural impression, as well as strengthen the future of today’s youth.

Mr. Sevag Avakian, Artistic Director and Choreographer of the Sassoun Dance Ensemble, and Barev Centre’s Director of Youth, shared the current dynamic state of youth affairs at HTAC.  He acknowledged the difficulties the Armenian youth would face in sustaining an active life in the community should there be an elimination of a facility or the means to continue this mission. Mr. Avakian declared it is our (the community’s) responsibility to preserve this Centre.

Mr. Ara Haroutyounian recognized The Holy Trinity Armenian Church as a shining star in the Canadian Diocese who will now have to face numerous challenges. He voiced that efforts have been made to get HTAC to its current state because of the faith and belief shared by the community for the future of this church. Mr. Haroutyounian affirmed the community must continue these efforts to prevent this transaction from fruition.

Mr. Jiraiyr Pederian was stimulated under the circumstance that AGBU was built by the Armenian community through sacrifice, donations and countless volunteer hours and therefore, felt the Armenian community should have the right to participate in the decision on the purchase and sale of the property.

Mrs. Sisi Abajian was also in favour of enabling the Church to purchase the AGBU property to keep it in the hands of the community with hopes to expand and benefit the community in years to come. Mrs. Abajian suggested an opportunity in the potential of building an old age facility for elderly Armenian. Mrs. Abajian also declared that efforts will need to be made by all, and not a select few, through contributions and donations, to make this vision a reality.

Mr. Diran Parnakoglu shared how his involvement in the community has made a significant impact on his spiritual and family life. He stressed the importance of keeping the Center in the Armenian Community to continue servicing and growing the culture.

Ms. Linda Pouchikian was curious to understand the means of the Church to collect the funds in support of enabling the church to purchase the AGBU Center. Mr. Jack Stepanian responded by stating ‘We, the Church and the Church community, will do whatever it takes to protect our safe haven, our Church, however we need to be realistic.’ With 80 days left, there have been discussions both locally and at the highest level of our Church at the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin. Mr. Ohan Ohanessian, Mr. Rosine Imasdounian, Mr. Jack Stepanian with the Parish Council under the guidance of Rev. Fr Zareh Zargarian will do the leg work to make the purchase of the AGBU a possibility by looking to major donors, banks, and all other options. Mr. Stepanian continued to say ‘We will look to the community. Together, we have to look at how to make this a reality.’

Mr. Daron Keskinian recognized the significance of this transaction on the Armenian community as a whole by acknowledging the presence of the sister churches and members of the community at the special general meeting. Mr. Keskinian shared encouraging words and provided reassurance that the community will stand by the decision made for this center. He too, focused on the importance of preserving the Armenian culture, language and heritage through centers of this sort.

Mr. Sarkis Yacoubian expressed with the current business transaction at stake, lawyers are needed to ensure all options are exhausted. Mr. Yacoubian also declared the community must do its part to keep the building in the hands of the Armenian Community. He stressed the importance of leadership and vision to make this a reality.

Mr. Benjamin Boujikian shared 3 options available to the church; 1) Exercise the first right of refusal and purchase the AGBU building 2) Not take any action and allow Centennial Collage to purchase the AGBU building 3) Sell HTAC and move elsewhere. Mr.Boujekian articulated the need to shift gears and focus on asking everyone to make a donation at the special general meeting to raise enough money to cover the cost of the $250,000 deposit. Mr. Zohrab Kazanjian agreed that in order to keep this facility, we must be ready to open our pockets and donate.

Mr. Hagop Imasdounian inquired about the plan once the building is purchased by the HTAC. His question was to insure the community will be able to sustain it over a period of time. Mr. Jack Stepanian reiterated that it is too premature to make a decision as this time, however the ultimate purpose is to keep the Church safe. The Church is not incentivized by a financial gain, instead, the hope it to build an old age facility for the Armenian community.

Ms. Rita Shagherian, an experienced professional in real estate, shared options on the potential of the building once in possession of the Church. Her ideas included the erection of a building of which shares are owned by the community.

Mr. Noubar (did not capture last name) suggested to book another meeting to discuss options of what will happen to the property once the church has exercised its first right of refusal to buy the AGBU building. A bi- weekly update was requested in order to work towards a solution.

Fr. Zareh Zargarian, expressed his appreciation to all representatives of Armenian Churches and organizations who displayed their support by attending the special general meeting. Fr. Zareh Zargarian expressed the decision of this transaction is that of the community yet must be made in consideration of those who have fought for our country; commemorating the Armenian Genocide, as well as preserving the future of our community, ensuring its continued growth and prosperity. Fr. Zareh Zargarian was transparent in his communication sharing the aging AGBU building will require a lot of maintenance. However, it is important to focus energies on moving forward with the efforts made by the community. Fr. Zareh welcomed all those in attendance of the meeting as Members of our community, whether dues paying members or not, and declared HTAC is open to receive and exchange ideas on the future of the property following the acceptance of the Resolution. He encouraged the community to stand in solidarity at this critical time in history of our community.

His Grace Bishop Hovakimyan expressed his thanks to the Armenian community for the display of unity and support and readiness to assist in bringing a resolution to the current situation. Bishop Hovakimyan declared that we are not purchasers, but the owners of this property. Furthermore, Bishop Hovakimyan in support of fundraising made an impressive gesture by donating his Panagia and Crosier as the first donation to the fundraising drive.

Mrs. Apet Alpay proposed voting of the Resolution to take place. This was seconded by Mr. Ara Boyajian.

Mr. Madat Mamourian, Ms. Diana Bogosian, Mr. Hagop Deukmekjian, Mr. Ara DerKevorkian, and Ms. Sirvart Benedict helped facilitate the voting process.

The names of all dues paying members were called to cast their vote, by way of secret balloting, on the Resolution.

With a vote of 122 Yes, 5 No, and 3 votes abstained the Resolution was approved for HTAC to exercise their first right of refusal and purchase the AGBU Centre to protect and safeguard the survival and long term growth and services of the Church to the community.

In adherence to the By-Laws of the Armenian Holy Apostolic Church, Canadian Diocese, the Board of Trustees will work hand in hand with the Diocesan Council and the Holy Trinity Armenian Church Parish Council to address the concerns of the Diocese and the Parish to bring this matter to a positive conclusion.

The meeting was adjourned with prayer at 4:35pm.

Կիրակի 11 Նոյեմբեր, 2018-ի յետ միջօրէի ժամը 2։00-ին տեղի ունեցաւ Ս. Երրորդութիւն Հայց. Առաք. Եկեղեցւոյ Արտահերթ Անդամական Ընդհ. Ժողովը, նախագահութեամբ՝ Գանատահայոց Թեմի Առաջնորդ՝ Գերշ. Տ. Աբգար եպս. Յովակիմեանի։ Սոյն ժողովը, ունէր հրատապ բնոյթ եւ հիմնական նշանակութիւն՝ թորոնթոհայ համայնքին համար։

 Ժողովին ներկայ էին Գանատահայոց Թեմի Փոխ առաջնորդ եւ Ս.Երրորդութիւն Եկեղեցւոյ հոգեւոր հովիւ՝ Արժ. Տ. Զարեհ Ա. Քհնյ. Զարգարեան, Թեմի Խորհուրդի Ատենապետ՝ տիար Օհան Օհաննէսեան, Ծխական Խորհուրդի Ատենապետուհի՝ Տիկ. Ռոզին Իմաստունեան, Ծխական Խորհուրդի անդամներ, եկեղեցւոյ տրատու անդամներ, քոյր եկեղեցիներու եւ կազմակերպութիւններու ներկայացուցիչներ եւ մեծ թիւով ներկաներ, որոնց մէջ ակնյայտ էր երիտասարդներու թիւը։

Ծխական Խորհուրդի Ատենապետուհի՝ Տիկ. Ռոզին Իմաստունեան Ծխական Խորհուրդի անունով բարի գալուստ մաղթեց ներկաներուն, որմէ ետք հրաւիրեց Տիար Ժաք Ստեփանեանը, Ատենապետ Թեմիս Կալուածոց Մարմնին, ստանձնելու ժողովի ատենապետի պաշտօնը, իսկ ատենադպրութեան պաշտօնները ստանձնեցին, Տիկ. Պէթթի Փանոսեան (Հայերէնով), եւ Օրդ. Արին Քըմքըմեան (Անգլերէնով) ։

Ժողովը սկսաւ Սրբազան հօր աղօթքով եւ  ընթացաւ ըստ օրակարգի կէտերուն։

Ժողովի ատենապետը ներկաներուն փոխանցեց արտահերթ այս ժողովին գումարման առիթ հանդիսացող` եկեղեցւոյ կից Հայ Բարեգործական Ընդհանուր Միութեան կողմէ շէնքի վաճառքի մասին, նշելով որ այս որոշումին որպէս հետեւանք 30 տարիներէ ի վեր նոյն տարածքին մէջ գործող եկեղեցին այսօր կը գտնուի մեծ դժուարութեան առջեւ յանուն ազգապահպանման։ Ապա տեղեկացուց, որ ժողովը պիտի քննարկէ բանաձեւ մը, որուն նպատակն է ուսումնասիրել այժմու կացութիւնը եւ գտնել հնարաւոր լուծումները ստեղծուած այս իրավիճակէն դուրս գալու համար։

Օրակարգը ընթերցուեցաւ եւ վաւերացուեցաւ։

Թեմի Խորհուրդի ատենապետ տիար Օհան Օհաննէսեան ներկաներուն փոխանցեց ՀԲԸՄ-ի կալուածի վաճառքի պայմաններու հիմնական կէտերը, նշելով՝ տարածքի վաճառման պահանջուած 8.5 միլիոն տոլար գումարը, տրուած կանխավճարը( 200,000 տոլար), ըստ Centennial College-ի հետ համաձայնագրի՝ մինչեւ Յունուար 2019 Ս. Երրորդութիւն եկեղեցւոյ վաճառքը մերժելու առաջին իրաւունքի գոյութիւնը եւ կալուածի գնման համար ճշդուած վերջին ժամկէտը՝ 29 Յունուար 2019։

Ներկաներուն կողմէ տեղի ունեցան լուսաբանական հարցումներ յատկապէս parking –ի մասին, որոնց պատասխանեց ժողովի Ատենապետը եւ տիար Արա Պոյաճեան, նշելով որ նոյնիսկ եթէ տարածքը ծախուի, parking-ը եկեղեցւոյ կողմէ օգտագործուելու համաձայնագիրը պիտի յարգուի Centennial College-ի կամ այլ գնորդի մը կողմէ համատեղ։

Ապա ցուցադրուեցաւ Drone-ով արձանագրուած տեսերիզ մը, որ  կը ներկայացնէր Ս. Երրորդութիւն եկեղեցւոյ համայնապետկերը, յարակից ՀԲԸՄ-ի կալուածին։

Յաջորդաբար, ընթերցուեցաւ Ծխական Խորհուրդին կողմէ պատրաստուած երկլեզու Բանաձեւը (անգլերէնով՝ Թեմական Խորհուրդի ատենապետ՝ Տիար Օհան Օհաննէսեան, իսկ հայերէնով՝ Ծխական Խորհուրդի Ատենապետուհի՝ Տիկ. Ռոզին Իմաստունեան), որմէ ետք ժողովի ատենապետը յայտարարեց բաց քննարկում։ Ստորեւ՝ ներկայացուած Բանաձեւը։

Ս. Երրորդութիւն Հայց. Առաք. Եկեղեցւոյ Ծխական Խորհուրդը մօտէն հետեւեցաւ Հայ Բարեգործական Ընդհանուր Միութեան կալուածի վաճառման համաձայնագրի վերջին զարգացումներուն, Հ.Բ.Ը.Մ. Արմէն Օնթարիոյի եւ Սէնթէնիալ Քոլէճի միջեւ։

Լաւագոյնս ծառայելու համար եկեղեցւոյս շահերուն, Ծխական Խորհուրդը Ընդհանուր Ժողովին կը թելադրէ վաւերացնելու սոյն բանաձեւը եւ լիազօրելու Պրն. Օհան Օհաննէսեանը՝ Ատենապետ գանատահայոց Թեմի պատկառելի Թեմական Խորհուրդի, Պրն. Ժաք Ստեփանեանը՝ Ատենապետ Թեմական Կալուածոց Մարմնի, Տիկ. Ռոզին Իմաստունեանը՝ Ատենապետուհի Ս. Երրորդութիւն Հայց. Առաք. եկեղեցւոյ Ծխական Խորհուրդի, Պրն. Արա Պոյաճեանը՝ Ատենապետ Ս.Ե.Հ. եկեղեցւոյ Շինութեան յանձնախումբի, գնահատելու 930 Փրոկրէսի վրայ գտնուող  կալուածի վաճառման հետեւանքները Ս.Ե.եկեղեցւոյ աշխատանքներուն վրայ եւ գտնելու բոլոր հնարաւորութիւնները ապահովելու եկեղեցւոյ շահերը, ներառեալ՝ նախապատրաստելու ուսումնասիրութիւն մը, դիմելով ֆինանսական հաստատութիւններու, ստանալու խոստումներ գլխաւոր նուիրատուներէն եւ սկսելու համագաղութային դրամահաւաք՝ ապահովելու անհրաժեշտ գումարները եւ Յունուարի 2019-ին ի գործ դնելու իր մերժումի առաջին իրաւունքը գնելու Հ.Բ.Ը.Մ-ի կալուածը մինչեւ 29 Յունուար 2019։

Ապա, ժողովի ատենապետը բաց յայտարարեց բանաձեւի քննարկումը։

Առաջին հերթին խօսք առաւ Թորոնթոյի Միջ Յարանուանական Խորհուրդի Ատենապետ՝ Տիար Յակոբ Ճանպազեան, շեշտելով որ նմանօրինակ դէպք մը իր նախադէպը չէ ունեցած թորոնթոհայ գաղութին մէջ, այդ պատճառով ալ ան թելադրեց ըլլալ միակամ առնուելիք որոշման գծով, աւելցնելով որ Միջ յարանուանական խորհուրդը զօրավիգ պիտի կանգնի ժողովին առնելիք որոշումներուն։

Յաջորդաբար խօսք առին Ս. Երրորդութիւն Հայց. Առաք. Եկեղեցւոյ «Սասուն» պարախումբի պարուսոյց՝ Տիար Սեւակ Աւագեան, Ս. Սահակ եւ Ս. Մեսրոպ Շաբաթօրեայ Ազգ. Վարժարանի Փոխ տնօրէն՝ տիար Արա Տէր Յարութիւնեան, որոնք շեշտեցին,որ ապագայ սերունդներուն հայապահպանութեան համար հրամայական է եկեղեցւոյ կից գտնուող հողաշերտի պահպանումը։

Տիար Ժիրայր Բէտէրեան, անձնական իր վկայութիւնը փոխանցեց, թէ ինչպէս 30 տարիներ առաջ թորոնթոհայ ժողովուրդի ջանքերով կառուցուած էր Ս. Երրորդութիւն եկեղեցւոյ ներկայի կառոյցը։

Առաջարկուեցաւ, որ նշեալ բանաձեւի քննարկումը ընդունելի յայտարարուելու համար երկու անդամներու համամտութիւնը պէտք է։ Տիար Արա Պոյաճեան եւ Տիար Մատաթ Մամուրեան յայտնեցին իրենց համամտութիւնը։

Յաջորդաբար ներկաներ խօսք առնելով յայտնեցին եկեղեցիին տարածքը հնարաւոր ամէն միջոցներով պահելու անհրաժեշտութեան մասին։

Հարց տրուեցաւ գումարի ապահովման եւ զայն կառավարելու հեռանկարի մասին։ Տիար Ճաք Ստեփանեան պատասխանեց, թէ դրամահաւաքը սփիւռքի տարածքին պիտի ըլլայ, միջազգային գետնի վրայ, եւ թէ Մայր Աթոռ Ս.Էջմիածինը տեղեակ է տուեալ կացութենէն։ Գաղափարներ կան, ինչպէս Ծերանոցի մը կառուցումը, սակայն հարցը ժամանակի սահմանաբակ ըլլալն է։

-Առաջարկ եղաւ, որ գրաւոր Բանաձեւը բաժնել ներկաներուն։ Ժողովի ատենապետը գործնական չնկատեց առաջարկը։

-Թորոնթոյի Հայ Կեդրոնի երիտասարդներու կողմէ ներկայացուցիչը, բարոյական աջակցութիւն եւ առնուելիք որոշումին նկտմամբ նեցուկ կանգնելու պատրաստակամութիւն յայտնեց եզակի այս երեւոյթին նկատմամբ։

Հարց տրուեցաւ որ բանաձեւով որոշուած անձերը որեւէ որոշում կայացնելու պարագային եթէ 4 ով համաձայն չգտնուին Ծխական խորհուրդի՞ն պիտի դիմեն։

Ժողովի ատենապետը պատասխանեց, որ որոշեալ անձերը Ծխական Խորհուրդին հետ համատեղ պիտի աշխատին, որմէ ետք Ծխական Խորհուրդին կողմէ ներքին քուէարկութեամբ որոշումները հանրութեան պիտի տեղեկացուին ժողովի մը գումարումով։

Տիար Արա Պոյաճեան աւելցուց, որ նշեալ 4 անձերը իրաւասութիւն չունին որոշում առնելու, անոնք լիազօրուած են աշխատանք տանելու եւ լաւագոյն լուծումները գտնելու՝ համագործակցութեամբ Ծխական խորհուրդին, եւ ի պահանջեալ հարկին պիտի դիմեն մասնագէտ անհատներու որպէսզի համատեղ լուծումներու հասնին մինչեւ հանրութեան հետ յաջորդ հանդիպում։

Առաջարկուեցաւ նաեւ, որ բանաձեւով որոշեալ անձերուն մէջ ներառուի  փաստաբան մը։  Ինչպէս նաեւ բանաձեւը քուէարկելէ առաջ purchase & sale agreement-ը կեցնել նկատի առնելով որ կեդրոնի գնման մէջ դրամահաւաքի մեծ ներդրում ունեցած է համայնքը։

-Տիար Յակոբ Ճանպազեան թելադրեց որ պարտք ունենալու պատրաստակամութիւն ունենալը կը վերանորոգէ ազգային եւ հոգեւոր պարտաւորութիւնը, թելադրելով որ ժողովը ընդունի որոշեալ 4 անձերուն յանձնել պարտականութիւնը Սրբազան Հօր հովանաւորութեամբ։

Որոշենք քանի մը շաբաթ ետք կրկին հանդիպիլ եւ սերտել թէ ի՞նչ կարգելի եղած է իրագործել։ Քանի մը շաբաթ անգամ ժողովուրդը տեղեակ պահել վերջին նորութիւններուն մասին ,որով ժողովուրդը իր խօսքը ունի ըսելիք այս որոշումին գծով։

-Ժողովի ատենապետը հրաւիրեց Թեմիս Փոխ առաջնորդ եւ Ս.Երրորդութիւն Եկեղեցւոյ հոգեւոր հովիւ՝ Արժ. Տ. Զարեհ Ա. Քհնյ. Զարգարեանը, որ գնահատանքի եւ շնորհակալական խօսքերով դիմեց մասնակից կազմակերպութիւններու ներկայացուցիչներուն եւ բոլոր ներկաներուն, խրախուսեց որ համայնքը մնայ համերաշխ՝ պատմութեան այս դժուար պահուն եւ շրջանցելով տարակարծութիւնները համագործակցաբար ներդնել մեր կարելին ու անկարելին պահելու համար եկեղեցին։ Ան ընդգծեց, որ պէտք է նկատի առնենք որ ՀԲԸՄի շէնքը հին կառոյց է եւ կարիքը ունի վերանորոգութիւններու որ ծախսալաից է։ Հետեւաբար մէկ կողմ պէտք է դնենք անձնականը եւ համատեղ գործակցինք։

Յաջորդ հանգրուանին խօսք առաւ Սրբազան Հայրը, որ շնորհակալութիւն յայտնեց ստեղծուած այս տագնապի ընթացքին թորոնթոհայ համայնքին ցուցաբերած իրենց միասնակամ ոգիին եւ ստեղծուած հարցին լուծում տալու պատրաստակամութեան համար։ Ան նշեց որ այսօր կայ տագնապ մը եւ մենք կոչուած ենք լուծումը գտնել այս խնդրին. Չի քննարկենք, այլ հաւատքով մօտենանք եւ պահանջենք։ Եկեղեցին իրաւունք ունի լքուած կալուածներու տէր կանգնել։ Ան աւելցուց մենք ազգային կալուածի գնորդներ չենք, այլ տէրն ենք անոր։

Ապա  Սրբազան Հայրը որպէս նեցուկ դրամահաւաքի արշաւին, հանդէս եկաւ տպաւորիչ եւ օրինակելի արարքով մը, եւ  բոլորի ներկայութեան որպէս դրամահաւաքի առաջին ներդրում, նուիրաբերեց Եպիսկոպոսական ոսկեզօծ իր Ասան եւ Պանակէն ներկաներու յոտնկայս ծափահարութիւններու ընկերակցութեամբ։

Տեղի ունեցաւ ներկայացուած Բանաձեւի ընդունման փակ քուէրակութիւնը, որուն մասնակցեցան  համայնքի 400 անդամներէն եկեղեցւոյ տրատու 130 անդամները միայն։

Քուէախոյզ  յանձնախումբի անդամները (Տիանա Պօղոսեան, Յակոբ Տէիրմէնճեան, Արա Պոյաճեան) ստուգելէ ետք քուէատուփերը, յայտարարեցին քուէարկութեան արդիւնքը հետեւեալ ձեւով՝ 122 այո, 5 ոչ եւ 3 ձեռնպահ։

Ժողովը փակուեցաւ  Առաջնորդ Սրբազան Հօր Պահպանիչով եւ Աղօթքով։
