Happy 23rd Anniversary to Armenia!

On Sunday, September 21 , 2014 Fr. Zargarian invited two of the Holy Trinity Armenian Church’s senior parishioners and long-time members, Mr. Jirayr Pederian and Mrs. Luisa Kerim to take part in the ceremony of blessing of the Republic of Armenia and Artsakh’s flags. This traditional blessing ceremony takes place every year at Church marking the anniversary of Independence Day of both countries.
Representing the younger generation of Toronto Armenians were two students of the church Sunday School: Ani Kerametlian and Arthur Tahmassian and two students from Saturday School: Patrick Nazari and Araz Zargarian.

The sermon was dedicated to Republic of Armenia’s Independence Day. Fr. Zareh emphasized on three important elements: Christian Faith, Armenian Language, and Motherland Armenia.
