Flag Blessing Ceremony

On Sunday, September 18, 2016 Rev. Archpriest Zareh Zargarian, Parish Priest of Holy Trinity Armenian Church celebrated the Divine Liturgy. On the occasion of Republic of Armenia's 25th Anniversary of Independence, a special Flag Blessing Ceremony took place during the service.
Young Acolytes carrying the flag of Armenia took part in prayers which was followed by Fr. Zargarian's heartfelt sermon encouraging everyone to be proud Armenians and taking part in building a better and stronger country. Praying for Motherland is great but not enough. Real devotion also requires hard work and unity.

The Church Choir led by Mr. Shahe Altounian performed "Ov Hayots Ashkharh- Ով Հայոց Աշխարհ", a beautiful tune dedicated to Armenia at the end of Liturgy.
