Faithin Canada 150

On the occasion of Canada’s 150 anniversary, Canadians everywhere are celebrating what makes our country feel like home. We’re celebrating the cornerstone of many people’s daily lives — their faith.Faith in Canada 150 exists to celebrate the role of faith in our life together during the anniversary celebrations in 2017.

The Cabinet of Canadians is an assembly of leading Canadians from industry, politics, religion, academia, and culture.
Their role will be to lend their respective voices to the discussion of faith as an integral part of our public dialogue.

Leading up to our nation’s Sesquicentennial in 2017, this Cabinet will reflect the diversity of faith traditions in Canada, and will illustrate the integration of faith in all walks of life across this country.

With blessings of His Grace Bishop Abgar Hovakimyan, Primate of the Armenian Diocese of Canada, Rev. Archpriest Fr. Zareh Zargarian, Vicar of the Armenian Church Diocese of Canada, Parish Priest of Holy Trinity Armenian Apostolic Orthodox Church of Toronto, joined the Cabinet of Canadians.
