A Memorial Service for Charles Aznavour

On Sunday, October 7, 2018 a requiem service was conducted in memory of beloved artist and philanthropist Charles Aznavour at Holy Trinity Armenian Church of Toronto.

The Divine Liturgy was celebrated by Rev. Archpriest Fr. Zareh Zargarian, Vicar of the Armenian Church Canadian Diocese and Parish Priest of the Holy Trinity Armenian Church.

Fr. Zargarian invited faithful parishioners to join him in prayers.

Seyran Ghazaryan and Edward Jerjian performed "Dele Yaman" and "Kerounk" which was followed by placing flower wreath in memory of Charles Aznavour at Armenian Genocide memorial located at church premises.

Թորոնթոյի Ս. Երրորդութիւն Հայց. Առաք. Եկեղեցւոյ մէջ Հոգեհանգստեան Պաշտօն տեղի ունեցաւ համաշխարհային ճանաչում վայելող, ֆրանսահայ արուեստագէտ եւ բարերար՝ Շառլ Ազնաւուրի մահուան 7 օրեակին առթիւ։

Փոխառաջնորդ եւ Հոգեւոր Հովիվ, Տէր Զարեհ Ա. Քհնյ. Զարգարեան պատարագեց ու իր տպաւորիչ քարոզը մատուցեց։ Քարոզէն վերջ Տէր հօր հրաւէրով երաժշտական ելոյթ ունեցան Սեյրան Ղազարյան եւ Էդուարդ Ճերճեանը։
Հաւատացեալներ աղօթքներով միացան Տէր Հօր հայցելու Երկնաւոր Հօր օրհնութիւնը ննջեցեալի հոգւոյն ի հանգիստ։

Սուրբ Պատարագէն վերջ ի յարգանս հանգուցեալ Շառլ Ազնաւուրի ծաղկեպսակ զետեղուեցաւ Հայոց Եղեռնի Յուշարձանին։
