The Rev. Archpriest Fr. Zareh Zargarian and the Parish Councilask faithful parishioners to pray for thedeparted soul of the late Freda Kalaidjian.

 Freda Kalaidjian (nee Ounjian) sadly passed away on August 6, 2024 after a lengthy stay in hospital. She was born in Toronto in 1933 to Helen Ounjian (nee Belemjian) and Charles Ounjian. She was a devoted and loving wife to her husband, John; a caring and loving mother to her son, Brian, and daughter-in-law Wendy and to her son, Dean and a loving grandmother to Danielle.  Freda sang in the first choir of Holy Trinity Armenian Church, Toronto, and was a member of the youth group and later the women’s guild of the church. Since graduating high school in 1952, Freda has had annual reunions with her classmates till very recent times.  Freda and John have made and kept friends from their places of employment, their church community, their square dance club and their many Leaside neighbours.  Time with family, friends and neighbours was her delight and always brought out her beautiful smile.  Her family is ever grateful to the caring staffs of Sunnybrook Hospital.Freda will be sadly missed by her husband John, her sons, Brian and Dean, her daughter-in-law, Wendy, her granddaughter, Danielle, her sister Bette and her Ounjian and Belemjian cousins and Kalaidjian relatives.
