Biography

Born in Ünye, Türkiye, on May 28, 1940, Gazar Baygin was welcomed to the world by Paylun Boyaci and Levon Zadigyan.

He was a very curious and happy boy who was dedicated to family and friends. His passions included food, health, business, and travel. He took care of his parents, raised his two younger siblings (Marie and Mardiros), married a phenomenal woman (Diruinsa), raised two boys of his own (Sevan and Herman), and never forgot about his friends.

Gazar was a very successful tailor and business man, but he was more than that. He left a mark on everyone he met, and he took opinions from others but always made up his own mind.

Gazar passed away in Toronto, Canada, on May 11, 2026, surrounded by family and friends.
