Special Event with Minister of National Defence Jason Kenney

On October 6th, 2015, Deacon Arman Galstyan and Mrs. Rita Odjaghian, Chairperson of Armenian Family Support Services represented Holy Trinity Armenian Church at an event with Minister of National Defense and Minister for Multiculturalism the Honourable Jason Kenney.
Minister Kenny welcomed the new refugees to Toronto and delivered a powerful and insightful speech discussing the refugee crisis and Canada’s position on the matter.
Following his speech, Rita Odjaghian and Deacon Galstyan extended their well wishes to the Honourable Jason Kenney on behalf of the church and AFSS on this successful event that took place at Good Shepherd Chaldean Church in North York.
Minister Kenney recognized the Armenian Family Support Services on the great work being done and encouraged continued efforts in helping Syrian refugees.
