DEDICATION FOR THE ARMENIAN GENOCIDE MEMORIAL

«FOREST OF HOPE» - «ՅԻՇԱՏԱԿԻ ՊՈՒՐԱԿ»
The Armenian Genocide Centennial Committee of Ontario invites the Armenian community of the GTA to attend the opening of the newly constructed “FOREST OF HOPE”, the only public memorialin the GTA dedicated to the memory of the victims of the Armenian Genocide”
The ceremony will take place on Saturday, September 24, 2016, starting at 1:00 PM at the Ashton Meadows Park’ 9335 Woodbine Avenue, city of Markham (Woodbine north of 16th Ave. at Calvert Rd)
The ceremony will be chaired by His Worship Mr. Frank Scarpitti, Mayor of the City of Markham, and in the presence of His Excellency, Mr. Armen Yeganian, Ambassador of the Republic of Armenia and other invited dignitaries.
