Feast of the Transfiguration of Our Lord

On Sunday, July 12, 2026, the Feast of the Transfiguration of Our Lord was celebrated with great spiritual joy at Holy Trinity Armenian Apostolic Church.

The Divine Liturgy was celebrated, and the sermon on the meaning of the feast was delivered by the Rev. Archpriest Fr. Zareh Zargarian, Vicar of the Armenian Diocese of Canada and Parish Priest of Holy Trinity Armenian Apostolic Church. A large congregation of faithful participated in the festive service, glorifying the glorious Transfiguration of Our Lord with prayer and spiritual rejoicing.

At the conclusion of the Divine Liturgy, those bearing the names commemorated on this feast day were invited to approach the Holy Altar, where they received a special blessing. This beautiful spiritual moment became an opportunity to pray that the Lord would continue to guide and protect all those celebrating their name day throughout their lives.

Following the Divine Liturgy, the clergy, deacons, and faithful formed a procession to the church courtyard, where the traditional Service of Antasdan was celebrated. Through prayer and blessing, God's peace, abundance, and protection were invoked upon our community, our families, and the entire world.

Following the Antasdan service, the day continued with the festive celebration organized by Barev Youth. The church courtyard was filled with the joy and excitement of children and families. Children enthusiastically took part in water fights, enjoyed specially installed water slides, foam activities, and many other fun attractions. These colorful and lively scenes brought a warm sense of fellowship and celebration to the feast.

Thus, the Feast of the Transfiguration beautifully united prayer, blessing, fellowship, and joy, becoming a meaningful expression of faith and the unity of our parish community.

We give thanks to Almighty God for this blessed day and express our sincere gratitude to all those whose dedicated service and commitment contributed to the successful organization of this joyful celebration.

Կիրակի, 12 Յուլիս 2026-ին, Սուրբ Երրորդութիւն Հայց. Առաքելական Եկեղեցւոյ մէջ մեծ հոգեւոր ուրախութեամբ նշուեցաւ մեր Տիրոջ Պայծառակերպութեան տօնը։

Սուրբ Պատարագը մատոյց եւ օրուան խորհուրդին մասին քարոզեց Գանատահայոց Թեմի Փոխառաջնորդ եւ եկեղեցւոյ հոգեւոր հովիւ՝ Արժ. Տ. Զարեհ Աւ. Քհնյ. Զարգարեան։ Հաւատացեալները մեծ թիւով մասնակցեցան տօնական արարողութեան՝ աղօթքով եւ հոգեւոր ցնծութեամբ փառաբանելով մեր Տիրոջ փառաւոր Պայծառակերպութիւնը։

Սուրբ Պատարագի աւարտին, տօնելի անունները կրող հաւատացեալները հրաւիրուեցան Սուրբ Խորան, ուր ստացան իրենց յատուկ օրհնութիւնը։ Հոգեւոր այս գեղեցիկ պահը դարձաւ առիթ՝ աղօթելու, որպէսզի Տէրը Իր շնորհքով առաջնորդէ եւ պահպանէ բոլոր տօնելիները իրենց կեանքին ընթացքին։

Ապա, եկեղեցւոյ հոգեւորականութեան, սարկաւագներուն եւ հաւատացեալ ժողովուրդին մասնակցութեամբ, թափօր կազմուեցաւ դէպի եկեղեցւոյ բակ, ուր կատարուեցաւ աւանդական Անդաստանի արարողութիւնը։ Աղօթքով եւ օրհնութեամբ խնդրուեցաւ Աստուծոյ խաղաղութիւնը, առատութիւնը եւ պահպանութիւնը մեր համայնքին, ընտանիքներուն եւ ամբողջ աշխարհին համար։

Անդաստանի արարողութենէն ետք, օրը շարունակուեցաւ «Բարեւ» Կեդրոնի Երիտասարդաց յանձնախումբի կազմակերպած տօնական ձեռնարկով։ Եկեղեցւոյ բակը լեցուեցաւ մանուկներու եւ ընտանիքներու ուրախութեամբ ու խանդավառութեամբ։ Երեխաները մեծ հաճոյքով մասնակցեցան ջուրի պատերազմներուն, խաղացին յատուկ տեղադրուած ջրային սահարաններուն վրայ, վայելեցին փրփուրի խաղերը եւ բազմաթիւ այլ զուարճալի զբաղումներ։ Գունագեղ ու կենսախինդ տեսարանները տօնին հաղորդեցին յատուկ ջերմութիւն եւ համայնքային գեղեցիկ մթնոլորտ։

Այսպէս, Վարդավառի տօնը միաւորեց աղօթքը, օրհնութիւնը, եղբայրական հաղորդակցութիւնն ու ուրախութիւնը՝ վերածուելով հաւատքի եւ համայնքային միասնականութեան գեղեցիկ արտայայտութեան։

Փառք կու տանք Ամենակալ Աստուծոյ այս օրհնեալ օրուան համար եւ շնորհակալութիւն կը յայտնենք բոլոր անոնց, որոնք իրենց ծառայութեամբ եւ նուիրումով նպաստեցին տօնական օրուան յաջող կազմակերպութեան։
