104th ANNUAL MEMBERSHIP ASSEMBLY OF THE HOLY TRINITY ARMENIAN APOSTOLIC CHURCH

On Sunday, March 15, 2026, the 104th Annual Membership Assembly of the Holy Trinity Armenian Apostolic Church of Toronto and the 8th Annual Assembly of the Barev Centre (Canadian Armenian Community Services Centre) took place in the Magaros Artinian Hall of the church.

The assembly was presided over by the Primate of the Armenian Diocese of Canada, His Grace Bishop Abgar Hovakimian, in the presence of the Diocesan Vicar and Pastor of Holy

Trinity Armenian Apostolic Church, Rev. Archpriest Fr. Zareh Zargarian, Pastor's Assistant, Rev. Fr. Hayari Tanashian, the Chairman of the Parish Council, Mr. Raffi Bedrosian, members of the Parish Council and Barev Centre and members of the parish.

By unanimous agreement of the attendees, the meeting assembly was formed as follows:

Chairperson – Mrs. Rosin Imasdounian

Secretaries (Armenian and English) – Betty Panossian and Ani Sarvarian.

The meeting opened with a prayer offered by His Grace the Primate. After confirming the legality of the assembly, Fr. Zargarian delivered welcoming remarks and wished a successful meeting.

The agenda and the minutes of the previous assembly were subsequently approved. The Pastor’s annual report was then presented, outlining the comprehensive activities of 2025,

which included religious services and sacraments, as well as numerous educational, cultural, social, and humanitarian initiatives.

In his address, Fr. Zargarian expressed gratitude to His Grace Bishop Hovakimian for his fatherly guidance and support, to pastor's assistant, Fr. Hayari Tanashian for his dedication and diligence, and to Parish Council Chairman Mr. Raffi Bedrosian, whose leadership has continued the council's active and productive work. He also thanked all members of the Parish Council individually. Words of appreciation were also extended to the Armenian Family Support Services team, which operates under the church’s auspices.

Special recognition was given to the active work of the church’s Barev Centre, under the chairmanship of Miss. Alice Spanos Sarkissian. The Pastor highly commended all the selfless and devoted individuals whose dedicated service contributes to the flourishing of the Holy Church.

Reports on the spiritual, administrative, and financial activities of the Parish Council, the Barev Centre, and the Armenian Family Support Services were subsequently presented.

Mr. Arbi Satouri presented the financial reports for the 2025 fiscal year and the 2026 budget projections for both the Church and the Barev Centre, which were unanimously accepted and ratified by those present.

The 104th Annual General Assembly of the Church concluded with words of His Grace Bishop Abgar Hovagimian, congratulating Rev. Archpriest Fr. Zareh Zargarian for his steadfast leadership and extending his gratitude to the Assembly Officers, Parish Council, and all volunteers and supporters for their unwavering commitment to the mission of the Holy Trinity Armenian Church.

The assembly concluded with His Grace’s prayer.
