On Thursday, January 1st the very first Divine Liturgy of 2015 was celebrated by Rev. Archpriest Fr. Zareh Zargarian with the presence of faithful parishioners and community members.

On Monday, January 5, 2015, the Armenian Church and Nation throughout the world celebrated the Eve of Nativity of our Lord Jesus Christ.

The evening prayers started with Vespers Service and Reading from prophetic scriptures by Sunday School students, special thanks to Mrs. Sirvart Mikaelian for her time, care and teachings.

His Grace Bishop Abgar Hovakimian, Primate of the Armenian Church Diocese of Canada celebrated the Divine Liturgy at Holy Trinity Armenian Church, assisted by Rev. Archpriest Zareh Zargarian, the Deacons and the Church Choir led by Mr. Shahe Altounian.

As always, we were happy to have The Rev. Canon Harold Nahabedian from Anglican Church with us attending the Christmas Eve Liturgy.

After the liturgy, the procession of clergy and faithful gathered in the church lobby, where the tradition of House Blessing took place. More photos…

On Tuesday, January 6, 2015, once again the church filled with parishioners. The Divine Liturgy was celebrated by Rev. Archpriest Fr. Zareh Zargarian assisted by Rev. Fr. Datev Menengichian. Following the Divine Liturgy, Fr. Zargarian blessed the water symbolizing the Baptism of Christ.  The honour of the symbolic role of “Godfather” was given to Mr. Avedis Moushian, a devoted member of the Holy Trinity Armenian Church.  The blessed water was distributed to the faithful.

Everyone was invited to a light reception in Magaros Artinian hall organized by the Women’s Guild of Holy Trinity Armenian Church.

On January 8th  and 9th Fr. Zargarian visited the seniors in nursing homes to congratulate the new year and the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ. Fr. Zareh prayed for their health and prosperity and everyone received Holy Communion. The seniors were very happy and grateful for this special visit in the beginning of the New Year.
