Then, we will arrange to come and pick up the items and deliver directly to the Newcomers homes in full confidentiality.
The Newcomers project is part of Armenian Family Support Services (AFSS), a charitable non-profit organization established in 2004 to help the members of the Armenian community in Toronto, particularly the newcomer families making their transition smooth and painless. AFSS provides counseling, referrals and workshops on important settlement issues, fosters volunteer activity to support integration of the newcomers into the community and delivers the Help Immediate Members Appeal (HIMA) program, assisting members of community with basic needs of accommodation, transportation, household items. All of the AFSS activities are guided by the principles of theArmenian Apostolic Church.
Please contact AFSS in case you will kindly be able to extend support to our newcomer families. Your assistance will greatly serve to the strengthening of the Armenian community in Toronto.
