CANADA SUMMER JOBS
GRAPHIC ARTIST DESIGNER at Barev Centre

POSITION DETAILS:
7 weeks full-time (40 hours/week) – start date: July 18, 2022
salary: $15/hr. (position made possible by Canada Summer Jobs)
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develop eye-catching campaign assets/flyers that can work across multiple platforms
Design and print of hardcopy products
Creating original materials using prints in archive for the organization’s website
Prioritize tasks, set expectations, and meet deadlines.
Provide reliable turnaround within deadlines, promptly and directly flagging issues as they arise.
Other duties as assigned
Other tasks as required
QUALIFICATIONS:
• between the age of 15 and 30
• Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or person to whom refugee protection has been conferred under the immigration and refugee protection act for the duration of the employment.
• have a valid social insurance number at the start of employment and be legally entitled to work in Canada.
• background in design and social media
• demonstrated organizational, oral, and written English communication skills.
• ability to function both independently and under supervision.
• competent in setting and meeting deadlines in a dynamic environment.
REPORTS TO: The Board Member of Barev Centre onsite.

ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT
(1 position) at Barev Centre
7 weeks full-time (40 hours/week) – start date: July 18, 2022
salary: $15/hr. (position made possible by Canada Summer Jobs)
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Data entry, filing, posting marketing and promotional material on the organization’s social media, website updates and other tasks as required.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• between the age of 15 and 30
