Gamar Cultural Association came to life on May 21, 1993 during a fund raising function to help the orphans in Armenia. The purpose of the Association was to organize traditional dinner gatherings, literary, musical as well as art functions.
In l994, Gamar Cultural Association became an auxiliary body of Holy Trinity Armenian Church, operating under the name "Ararat-Gamar Cultural Association".
Through its functions, Ararat-Gamar tries to bring the Homeland closer to each individual and preserve the language, culture and the unique traditions.
Our Homeland, Armenia, is and will always remain the source of "Ararat-Gamar Cultural Association"s inspiration.
We are excited to announce the new members of Ararat Gamar elected in Spring 2007.
