ANNUAL BAZAAR – 2008
Organized by Holy Trinity Armenian Church - Women's Guild
One of the surest signs of the warmth and joyous gathering is the Annual Bazaar at Holy Trinity Armenian Church which was held on Sunday, November 9 at “Magaros Artinian” Hall.
This year’s Bazaar was unique because of the presence of a special guest – His Grace Bishop Vazgen Mirzakhanian - the Primate of the Armenian Church of Republic of Georgia who was invited to Canada on the occasion of a Charitable Art Exhibition & Sale of Armenian Artists from Georgia which originally took place on the last weekend of October; the paintings were on display in “Maral Ishkanian” hall during our bazaar.
This year’s bazaar featured a much bigger bake table, where one could buy homemade confections. A delicious mouthwatering lunch was available too. As usual, the lunch line was long, but well worth the wait!!!
There were several other attractions including vendors selling their high quality products: silver and gold jewelry, stylish accessories, “AWI” watches and craft items, souvenirs from Armenia and much more.
Finally thank you to our Women’s Guild Executive Committee members and all devoted volunteers who worked hard and diligently to make this year’s Bazaar a great success!!!

ANNUAL MID-LENTEN LUNCHEON
On Sunday, March 15, 2009, following the Divine Liturgy our parishioners gathered at “Magaros Artinian” Hall for Mid-Lenten Luncheon organized by HTAC Women’s Guild.
Our Pastor, Rev. Archpriest Zareh Zargarian offered a prayer and introduced Women’s Guild newly elected Chairperson, Mrs. Rita Artinian and the committee members.
Mrs. Artinian welcomed all the attendees and thanked the ladies who have taken time from their own schedule to prepare special Lenten dishes.

| This event again exemplified our members’ generosity and talents as they cooked all of the tempting and mouthwatering confections. Without active involvement of our members, Women’s Guild would not have made so much this far!
The lunch was a spring time “welcome” prepared by the Guild members – everybody enjoyed the beauty and fragrance of the centerpieces, joyous music and each other’s company.

Early Saturday morning, Rev. Archpriest Zareh Zargarian blessed our journey to St. Mary’s, reading from (Luke 5:17-26), the miracle of Jesus healing The Paralytic. We departed Holy Trinity Armenian church, and after an enjoyable bus trip to Hamilton, we entered St. Mary Armenian Church for the Arevakal service. What a treat to witness this beautiful Lenten service sung by four members of our Clergy: His Eminence Bishop Bagrat Galstanian, Very Rev. Father Hayrik Hovhanissyan, our own Rev. Archpriest Zareh Zargarian, and Deacon Narek Garabedian, assistant to the Director of Christian Education and Youth Ministry Department. Read more... |

Dear Members,
This is the traditional letter to all the Women’s Guild Members, and the community from the Holy Trinity Armenian Church Chairperson , Setta Keshishian outlining all the different activities that will take place during the upcoming season at our monthly meetings. A majority of the list remains the same as previous years, which reflects the strong commitment we have to keep the things that work in place. There are also some new projects included reflecting our strong commitment to growth and flexibility. I want to thank Der Zareh Zargarian, pastor of the Holy Trinity Armenian Church, Parish Council, our Committee and all the members who contribute in so many different ways: voicing an opinion, expressing a concern and volunteering their valuable time to make sure all the events and activities at the church continue to flourish.
